Six Degrees have partnered with large organisation who specialise in all things animal care to recruit a Product Developer for their Ryde, NSW location. This is an office-based role with occasional travel to visit suppliers.

This role is pivotal in ensuring that innovative, safe, and compliant products are delivered on time, while also supporting the business in making accurate product claims. We are looking for someone with a strong regulatory compliance mindset, sound knowledge of AS5812 pet food standards, and the ability to support the technical team in ensuring compliance with product safety, labelling, and marketing claims.
You will combine technical expertise with project management skills to manage an extensive NPD pipeline and keep all stakeholders aligned. Experience with digital project management tools such as Asana and the ability to manage multiple priorities will be key to success in this role.
This position would best suit an individual with previous FMCG manufacturing or pet food NPD experience, or studies in Food Science with at least 2 years’ experience. You will bring a great eye for detail, a solutions focused approach, and enjoy hands-on problem-solving in a collaborative team environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are also essential.
