Since 2016, we have delivered high-quality technical and engineering services to major carriers across Australia. As we expand, we are seeking an experienced Telecommunications Field Engineer to join our team. About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for the design, installation, testing, and integration of advanced telecommunication infrastructure. You will ensure compliance with industry standards while leading on-site activities to achieve high-quality outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

Designing, installing, testing, commissioning, and integrating network site equipment. Ensuring compliance with Telstra and other carrier-specific policies and procedures. Reviewing drawings and specifications to determine optimal equipment placement and connections.

Ordering and preparing installation materials and tools. Testing hardware functionality prior to deployment. Managing cutover methods and verifying services by testing circuits, alarms, and equipment.

Installing and maintaining aerial and underground wires, cables, radio/mobile antennas, and fibre splicing. Performing fault isolation, cable testing, and recording; optic fibre commissioning; alarm system management; wave-guide termination and antenna maintenance. Supervising field technicians to ensure compliance with standards and quality.

Enforcing safety requirements and ensuring accurate, timely data entry into databases. Requirements Proven experience in telecommunications field engineering (Telstra or carrier projects desirable).

Strong knowledge of fibre optics, RF systems, and telecom installations. Construction White Card. Current Australian Driver’s Licence.

Ability to read and interpret technical site drawings. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Willingness to travel as required (travel allowance provided).
