Counter Sales - Hardware/steel

• Previous sales/customer service experience desirable

• Hardware/steel/fastener industry knowledge  ideal

Our client is a highly successful  company and as a result of recent growth and expansion, a new position has been created.

This position is an interesting role with the emphasis on trade counter sales and customer service. The successful candidate may have worked in a trade and/or the hardware or steel industry  previously or a person seeking a change in career, who is a self starter and keen to learn.  

Duties will include:

• Serving customers 'face to face".

• Processing orders

• Giving technical advice to customers

• Quoting and making up job cards

• Computer work.

• Multi tasking

You will need to be a team player, be self motivated,  able to multi task, have excellent communication and a liking for sales and customer service.  Reasonable computer skills, attention to detail and a flexible attitude is desirable.

An immediate start is envisaged for this role and a generous salary will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
