Looking to start a hands-on career in manufacturing?

This is a rare opportunity to join a leading manufacturing business as a Production Operator Trainee, where you'll earn while you learn while completing a Certificate III in Process Manufacturing.

No previous manufacturing experience is required. Full training will be provided, and you'll be supported by experienced operators as you build valuable skills in a modern production environment.

About the Role

As a Trainee Production Operator, you'll learn how to safely operate within a large-scale manufacturing facility, working as part of a team to produce high-quality products while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

You will gain experience in:

  • Operating and monitoring production equipment
  • Packaging and processing products
  • Conducting quality checks and recording production data
  • Assisting with machine setup, cleaning and basic maintenance
  • Following workplace safety, quality and operational procedures
  • Working collaboratively to achieve production targets

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, problem-solving, teamwork and working in a structured environment.

Roster & Hours

This is a full-time position working 12-hour day shifts on a rotating roster.

The roster operates across weekdays and weekends, with employees working a combination of:

  • Monday to Wednesday shifts
  • Wednesday to Friday shifts
  • Regular weekend work, including Saturdays and Sundays
  • A balanced rotating roster that provides extended periods of time off between shifts

Successful applicants must be available to work weekends as part of their normal roster. You will work no more than 3-4 days in a week
