E-Commerce Specialist

At Vorsen, we design and supply high-quality furniture for commercial and residential spaces across Australia. We’re a driven and growing team with a strong eye for product, presentation and customer experience.

We’re looking for an E-Commerce Specialist to take ownership of our Shopify storefront and help deliver a high-quality digital experience. This role will be responsible for managing website content, product presentation and day-to-day site functionality, while supporting new product launches from photography and specifications through to live publication.

You’ll suit this role if you are detail-oriented, commercially minded and comfortable identifying opportunities to improve usability, content quality and conversion. You’ll report directly to the Head of Digital and work closely with the wider team across digital marketing, logistics and customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimise the Shopify storefront, ensuring all content, collections and navigation are accurate, functional and visually engaging.

• Identify and implement updates that improve usability, customer experience and conversion.

• Use AI tools to analyse site metrics and customer behaviour, helping surface trends and conversion opportunities faster.

• Conduct regular site audits to ensure product information, pricing, imagery and promotional content are accurate and up to date.

• Monitor key e-commerce metrics such as average order value, conversion rate, time on site and bounce rate, and help identify ways to improve them over time.

• Collaborate on digital campaigns and promotions, ensuring consistent execution across the website and other digital channels.

• Support GEO — Generative Engine Optimisation — by improving product and collection content so it is clear, useful and easy for AI tools to read, understand and reference. This includes creating content such as product FAQs, buying guides and structured product information that helps Vorsen appear when customers use AI tools for product research.

• Apply a strong creative eye to the selection and creation of visual assets, ensuring imagery, graphics and website content are aligned with Vorsen’s brand aesthetics and visual identity.

• Stay across industry trends, e-commerce best practices and emerging UX patterns, proactively identifying gaps or shortcomings on the site and recommending practical improvements.

• Manage website visual merchandising by optimising product placement, category layouts, collections and promotional content to improve the customer journey.

• Manage on-site search, filters and product recommendations so customers can find what they want easily.

• Take ownership of the day-to-day performance and continuous improvement of the website, with a mindset of always making it better.
  

About You

• 3+ years’ experience working with Shopify.

• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

• Accountable, proactive and proud of the quality of your work.

• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.

• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude to streamline workflows and improve output.

• Canva or Adobe Creative Suite skills preferred.

• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle NetSuite is highly regarded.

• An interest in interiors, furniture and creating elevated online experiences.
