About FITIN Joinery
FITIN Pty Ltd is a Sydney-based joinery manufacturer specialising in the design, manufacture and installation of premium commercial and residential joinery.
Operating from our modern manufacturing facility in Seven Hills, we deliver projects throughout NSW for commercial builders, residential builders, developers, architects, government organisations, schools, healthcare providers, commercial offices and premium residential clients.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to become a key part of our long-term expansion strategy.
About the Role
This is NOT a traditional sales role.
We are looking for someone who already has an established network within the NSW construction industry and can convert relationships into awarded projects.
You'll be supported by an experienced estimating, manufacturing and project delivery team, allowing you to focus on building relationships, creating opportunities and growing the business.
Your existing network may include:
Commercial Builders
Residential Builders
Developers
Architects
Interior Designers
Project Managers
Estimators
Contract Administrators
Quantity Surveyors
Fit-out Companies
Government, Education and Healthcare Clients
Key Responsibilities
Identify and secure new business opportunities across NSW.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with builders, developers, architects and consultants.
Arrange client meetings and company presentations.
Identify projects before they reach the tender stage.
Secure invitations to tender.
Follow up quotations and negotiate successful outcomes.
Develop long-term strategic partnerships.
Represent FITIN professionally throughout the construction industry.
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Contribute to the long-term growth of the business.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Proven Business Development or Sales experience within the construction industry.
Existing relationships with commercial and residential builders across NSW.
Experience within commercial or residential joinery, shopfitting, fit-outs or construction.
Excellent communication, networking and negotiation skills.
A proven track record of winning new business.
Strong commercial awareness.
A self-motivated and results-driven attitude.
A current Australian Driver Licence.

Highly Desirable
Existing network of Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 builders.
Experience selling commercial or residential joinery packages.
Understanding of estimating and tendering processes.
Experience working with education, healthcare, hospitality, government and commercial office projects.
