South Hurstville Family Practice has been established for over 20 years with a strong team of Doctors looking after the local community. Our clinical and non-clinical team work together in a respectful environment to ensure every member is respected for their work. Our goal is to provide a broad range of services to our patients while maintaining a reliably high standard of healthcare.
We Are Looking For: Registered Nurse : minimum 1 year experience in general practice Availability : Full Day Friday, with possibility of other days
- Perform clinical duties: childhood immunisations and other injections, wound management, chronic disease management, ECGs, testing of urine samples.
- Assist doctors with clinical procedures, maintaining documentation for health assessments.
- Explain procedures to patients, providing support and reassurance.
- Assist with triage, networking with other providers, planning and management of patient care.
- Recall test results as directed by medical staff / clinical software
- Participation in Quality Improvement projects/preventative screening
- Assist with patient education and community health promotion activities.
- Conduct Health Assessments
- Conduct iron infusions and ear syringing
