Job Description

About The Role This is a permanent part time role working 24 hours per week, located in Kiama.

The Practice Nurse is a valued member of the clinical team, providing safe, evidence-based, and patient-centred care within a fast-paced general practice environment. This role requires a strong understanding of primary healthcare, the scope of nursing practice in general practice, and the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. You will contribute to the delivery of high-quality clinical services through nurse-led clinics, coordinated multidisciplinary patient care, and preventative health initiatives.

Free and confidential Employee Assistance Program Skills & Experience Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), supported by relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent clinical experience.

Recent clinical nursing experience, preferably within a general practice, primary care or community health setting. Demonstrated commitment to delivering patient-centred care, with a compassionate and respectful approach to individuals from diverse backgrounds. Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients across all age groups and social demographics.
