About the Role:

We are seeking a commercially focused Senior Commercial Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team.

This role is responsible for delivering commercial performance insights across COPE, translating financial and operational data into actionable recommendations that drive margin, productivity, and strategic outcomes.

You will own the reporting and analytics framework, lead weekly and monthly performance cadence, and partner closely with Executive and State leadership teams. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will support data-driven decision making and provide deputy support to the National Strategy & Commercial Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and enhance COPE’s commercial reporting framework and KPIs
  • Lead weekly and monthly performance reviews across teams
  • Deliver insights on profitability, cost, pricing, and efficiency
  • Link operational drivers to financial outcomes (P&L impact)
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Ensure data integrity across ERP, TMS, and BI systems
  • Develop reporting using Power BI and data platforms
  • Drive improvements in analytics capability and data literacy
  • Support stakeholder alignment and accountability for outcomes
  • Act as delegate for the National Strategy & Commercial Manager

What will you bring to the role:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or similar
  • 5+ years’ experience in commercial analytics, FP&A, or similar
  • Experience delivering executive-level reporting and insights
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability
  • Advanced Excel; Power BI experience preferred
  • Ability to work across multiple data sources (ERP, TMS, BI tools)
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
  • Experience in fast-paced, multi-functional environments
