Our team in the Supplier Management Office sits within the Data, Digital, Design and Engineering division which supports the technology that underpins our digital bank. You will support our federated Supplier Relationship Manager community, by identifying commercial opportunities within their technology contracts and supporting the activities to realise them by working with the boarder supplier ecosystem (Sourcing, Legal, Risk). Our Supplier Management Office is evolving fast with the adoption of Artificial Intelligence, and we now have the capability to review and assess contract performance through automation. As we continue to evolve these capabilities to work across our entire contract portfolio, we are looking for someone who understands commercial constructs and pricing models and likes to analyse contract performance with the goal of cost optimisation. This role will also focus on analysing supplier expense categories, while tracking migration plans and other initiatives, to assess the cost impact of different supplier strategies in support of prioritisation decisions. This role will have broad visibility across the business as it will be key to uplift the maturity of our supplier strategies to accelerate our growth. What You Offer Strong commercial acumen, with experience analysing complex contract structures and pricing models to identify cost improvement and value creation opportunities Well developed analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, track expenditure, and understand the financial impact of different strategies and initiatives Demonstrated experience delivering commercial outcomes, including identifying and realising savings or other benefits through supplier agreements Ability to translate complex business and technology needs into clear, outcome focused supplier strategies that support long term objectives Clear and confident communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior leaders and executives A proactive, adaptable approach, with the curiosity to explore emerging technologies, including the practical use of AI and the drive to take ideas from concept through to delivery in a fast paced environment.
