ABOUT THE ROLEAt Dahlsens, our Logistics & Admin Support team member plays an integral role in the smooth running of our Smeaton Grange branch. This is a genuinely varied, fast-paced position that sits at the centre of daily operations - connecting customers, production, and the branch team to keep everything moving in the right direction.
Your primary focus will be coordinating customer orders from the moment they're booked through to delivery. You'll take incoming orders, enter them accurately into our system, and track them through the confirmation and production process to ensure timelines are met. When schedules shift - as they often do in a busy manufacturing environment - you'll work closely with the Branch Manager and Production Supervisor to communicate changes, adjust plans, and keep customers informed.
Beyond order coordination, this role carries genuine responsibility for branch administration. You'll support the day-to-day administrative functions of the branch, including invoice processing, budget tracking, internal communications, and compliance record-keeping. You'll also have the opportunity to help develop and improve admin procedures, making the branch run more efficiently over time.
