The Role

 As a Machine Operator at Demetrius Projects, you'll play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality outcomes for our clients while contributing to a positive and productive team environment.

This role is suited to someone who can work independently, take ownership of their responsibilities, and contribute wherever required to help the team achieve successful project outcomes.

Your Responsibilities

• Operate plant and equipment safely, efficiently and in accordance with site requirements.

• Operate and load skid steers, 1.5T and 5T excavators.

• Operate tipper trucks, hydrovac units and drain cleaning trucks.

• Complete daily pre-start checks and maintain equipment in a safe and serviceable condition.

• Identify and report hazards, defects or site risks immediately.

• Work closely with Project Managers and team members to keep projects moving efficiently.

• Assist with manual labour and site activities when required.

• Maintain a professional standard of workmanship, communication and site presentation.

• Uphold Demetrius Projects' commitment to safety, quality and client satisfaction.

Essential Requirements

• HR Truck Licence.

• Current Police Check.

• Experience operating and loading skid steers.

• Experience operating 1.5T and 5T excavators.

• Experience operating tipper trucks.

• Experience operating hydrovac and drain cleaning equipment.

• Strong understanding of site safety and compliance requirements.

• Reliable, punctual and professional approach to work.
