About the role
Mater Hospital Springfield has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join the Planned care team in a permanent full-time role 38 hours per week (hours negotiable) working as an elective surgery theatre/procedural scheduler.
The Planned Care team offers exceptional individualised care and is committed to enhancing the patient experience by providing education, information and support that is evidence based.
This role will work closely with the treating teams to ensure patients referred for elective procedures are scheduled within clinically appropriate timeframes whilst ensuring patients are optimally prepared for surgery prior to their theatre date.
Salary range: $42.99 - $55.14 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!

As a Registered Nurse – Theatre Scheduler, you will play a vital role in coordinating elective surgical procedures while delivering high-quality, patient-centred nursing care. You will advocate for patients and ensure their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met in a safe and efficient environment, contributing to optimal surgical outcomes.
