Fuji SMBE Harwal Pty Ltd is a leading Australian designer and manufacturer
of advanced technology, low-voltage electrical switchboards.

We are seeking motivated and reliable hands-on workers to support our growing manufacturing industry. This is an excellent opportunity for hands-on individuals looking to build a long-term career, working in our Electrical factory and Sheet Metal factory, working with hand and power tools.

The Role

This is a entry-level position where all training will be provided.
No experience, qualifications or skills required.

As a factory worker, you will work closely with either Electrical supervisors or Sheet Metal supervisors, you may be trained on the following where required:

  • Cable preparation (Electrical)

  • Assembly and electrical fit-out of switchboards (Electrical)

  • Installation, wiring and testing (Electrical)

  • Laser Cutting (Sheet Metal)

  • Turret Punching (Sheet Metal)

  • Folding and Fabricating sheet metal i.e. Aluminum, Steel and Stainless Steel (Sheet Metal).

  • Busbar work (Sheet Metal)

  • Assembly (Sheet Metal)

This is a hands-on role requiring a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and quality.

  • General Hand – Sheet Metal *DAY SHIFT

  • General Hand – Electrical

  • General Hand – Sheet Metal *NIGHT SHIFT
    (After some period of time on day shift for Training)

Hours: 38 Hours Per Week

  • Sheet Metal 4 Day Week: Mon – Thu 7:00am – 5:00pm

  • Electrical 5 Day Week: Mon to Thu – 7:00am – 3:30pm Friday 7:00am – 1:00pm

  • Is physically fit

  • Is reliable, punctual, motivated, and eager to learn

  • Has good attention to detail

  • Has a strong safety focus and follows procedures at all times

  • Enjoys physical, hands-on work in a factory environment

  • Communicates clearly and works well within a team

  • Can work collaboratively but is also self-motivated when required

  • Has functional English, both written and verbal
