About the Role

The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday and play a key role in ensuring the efficient coordination of daily transport operations.

Key responsibilities and duties:

• Truck and trailer loading/unloading knowledge.
• Transferring of stock to branches experience.
• Knowledge of stock counts and Ording.
• Analise and input data into run sheets.
• Schedule vehicle loads to maximise efficiency and meet delivery requirements.
• Accurately plan and allocate driver runs.
• Review, reconcile, and consolidate driver paperwork to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Conduct and document daily driver debriefs, reporting outcomes as required.
• Liaise with drivers throughout the day to monitor progress, ensure delivery schedules are met, and confirm compliance with fatigue management requirements.
• Communicate with branches regarding order status, delivery updates, and general enquiries.
• Monitor performance and demonstrate a proven ability to achieve and maintain delivery KPIs.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum of three years’ experience within the transport industry (essential).
• Strong knowledge of the geographical layout of NSW/ACT
• At least three years’ experience in a transport scheduling / coordinator role, with hands-on truck and trailer experience (preferred).
• Experience with budgeting, IBT, and LPG operations.
• Detailed knowledge of load configurations, weight limits, and vehicle allocation (preferred).
• High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word (essential).
• Previous experience with Pronto and Ignition systems (desirable but not essential).
• Extensive knowledge of transport safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements (essential).
• Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical examination as part of the recruitment process.
