Inventory Planner/Analyst

Your New Opportunity:

As one of our Inventory Planner / Analysts, you’ll play a key role in supporting critical Defence maintenance programmes by ensuring the right parts are available at the right time.

Based in Kings Park NSW, you’ll work closely with logistics, supply chain and technical teams to coordinate inventory requirements for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities. From analysing inventory data and maintaining databases to coordinating stock availability and compliance within Defence systems, your work will directly support operational success.

This role offers the opportunity to develop your expertise in supply chain logistics, inventory planning and Defence systems while working with a knowledgeable and supportive team.

What will you do?

Provide logistics and inventory support for maintenance activities.
Maintain inventory databases, registers and logistics spreadsheets.
Coordinate national availability of parts and rotatable pool items.
Monitor stock levels, shelf-life and obsolescence.
Support stocktakes and maintain Defence logistics data.
Analyse inventory performance and support supply chain reporting.
Update Bills of Materials (BoMs) for maintenance events.
Support configuration, documentation and administrative functions within the team.

About you:

Experience in inventory management, logistics or supply chain environments.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manage data.
Experience working with inventory databases or ERP systems.
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Comfort working in a fast-paced operational environment.
Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) Security Clearance of Negative Vetting 1.
