What you'll be doing

• Safely operate heavy vehicles to transport goods and materials in accordance with road laws and company procedures.

• Conduct pre-start and post-trip vehicle inspections, identify mechanical defects, and report issues in line with company policy to ensure the safety of yourself and others.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date logbooks and transport documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Deliver goods to customers on time and in good condition, ensuring a high standard of service.

• Liaise effectively with operations to coordinate timely and efficient deliveries.

• Adhere to all applicable safety legislation, compliance standards, and company policies and procedures.

What we're looking for

• A current Heavy Combination (HC) licence with on road experience- experience carting steel, precast concrete is highly regarded.

• CV/C6 license and crane experience- required for HIAB role

• White card required

• Knowledge of road transport regulations and safe driving practices

• Excellent time management and organisation skills- ability to meet delivery schedules and escalate late or missed deliveries

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Applicants must be able to provide a current driving record issued by Service NSW.

• Ability to pass mandatory drug & alcohol testing, fitness for duty/driving medical
