What you'll be doing
Safely operate heavy vehicles to transport goods and materials in accordance with road laws and company procedures.
Conduct pre-start and post-trip vehicle inspections, identify mechanical defects, and report issues in line with company policy to ensure the safety of yourself and others.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date logbooks and transport documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Deliver goods to customers on time and in good condition, ensuring a high standard of service.
Liaise effectively with operations to coordinate timely and efficient deliveries.
Adhere to all applicable safety legislation, compliance standards, and company policies and procedures.
What we're looking for
A current Heavy Combination (HC) licence with on road experience- experience carting steel, precast concrete is highly regarded.
CV/C6 license and crane experience- required for HIAB role
White card required
Knowledge of road transport regulations and safe driving practices
Excellent time management and organisation skills- ability to meet delivery schedules and escalate late or missed deliveries
Strong communication and customer service skills
Applicants must be able to provide a current driving record issued by Service NSW.
Ability to pass mandatory drug & alcohol testing, fitness for duty/driving medical
