The opportunity:
The Inventory Supervisor in a healthcare setting is responsible for overseeing the management, control, and distribution of medical supplies and equipment. This role ensures optimal inventory levels, minimizes waste, supports clinical operations, and maintains compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.

What you will do:

Supervise daily inventory operations, including receiving, storing, and issuing medical supplies and equipment
Monitor stock levels to ensure adequate supply while avoiding overstocking or shortages
Implement and maintain inventory control systems (e.g., FIFO, barcode tracking)
Coordinate with procurement teams and vendors to ensure timely delivery of supplies
Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies
Ensure proper storage conditions for sensitive medical items (e.g., temperature-controlled products)
Maintain accurate records and documentation within inventory management systems
Lead, train, and evaluate inventory team performance
Collaborate with clinical departments to forecast demand and usage trends
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and infection control policies
Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve overall inventory efficiency
Provide accurate and timely input for new principal onboarding and new product introduction activities
Ensure all inventory processing activities are completed accurately and within required timelines
Manage and resolve daily operational issues for the inventory team
Prepare and deliver relevant reports, including monthly management reports

What we are looking for:
You are a self-motivated, reliable professional driven to deliver high-quality inventory control outcomes. You demonstrate strong personal presence and credibility, represent the organisation in a professional manner, and contribute positively to business growth and operational excellence.

Minimum 4+ years’ experience in inventory, warehousing, or distribution
Experience with SAP WM, SAP EWM, or similar inventory management systems
Proven experience managing supply, storage, and distribution operations, ideally in international or technology-driven environments
Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder communication skills
Solid understanding of procurement, inventory, warehousing, and distribution systems
Ability to make strategic decisions, solve problems, and ensure compliance with safety and logistics regulations
Strong organizational and analytical skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure healthcare environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software
