The Role:
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Manufacturing Team. The successful applicant will be keen to learn our various manufacturing processes, be reliable, and enjoy working as part of a team.
On-the-job training will be provided across all manufacturing departments, enabling you to become a multi-skilled manufacturing employee.
The role is permanent full-time with a six month probationary period.
Duties will include:
Reading and interpreting paperwork accurately
Assembling various window furnishing products
Manufacturing and finishing window furnishing components
Packing products for dispatch
Assisting in various manufacturing departments as required
Assisting in stock take
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Other adhoc duties as instructed
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 7am - 3.30pm
Friday: 7am to 1pm
Essential Skills:
A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
Excellent communication skills
Good time management and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
A high level of personal presentation and professionalism
Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Desirable Skills:
Previous manufacturing or factory experience
Experience in the manufacture and sewing of vertical drapes or other window furnishing products would be highly regarded.
