Quality Assurance Officer (Chullora)

Primo Foods has a fantastic opportunity for a Food Safety Quality Assurance officer. This role will report directly to the Quality Assurance Manager and will be part of the frontline team that ensures quality assurance policies/procedures and food safety standards are met.

• Ensures that all monitoring is being performed in accordance with the approved arrangement.
• Ensure product is being produced to specification.
• Carry out internal Quality Audits as requested by the FSQAM.
• Initiating corrective action plans where required.
• Understand and enforce the requirements for each of the SOP’s that are relevant to the certain department.
• Assist with the coordination of hold/releases.
• Attend to non-conformances and customer complaints.

• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of Quality Assurance terminology, policies and regulatory standards.
• Organised and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Sound knowledge of computers.
• Experience with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and knowledge of BRC (British Retail Consortium) Standards.

Pay: $76,515.00 - $85,000.00 per year
