We specialise in the sourcing, importation, wholesale distribution, logistics, and retail supply of a diverse range of FMCG, grocery, frozen food, seafood, and specialty food products.

As our business continues to expand, we are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our growing team and play a key role in managing supplier relationships, purchasing activities, and inventory planning across the business.

Position Overview

The Procurement Manager will be responsible for overseeing the Company's procurement and purchasing functions, ensuring the timely and cost effective sourcing of products while maintaining quality standards and supply continuity. The role requires strong supplier management, negotiation, inventory planning, and commercial decision making skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage procurement, purchasing, and supplier management strategies to support business objectives.

  • Source FMCG products, and specialty food items from both local and international suppliers.

  • Negotiate pricing, supply agreements, delivery schedules, and product specifications with suppliers to achieve favourable commercial outcomes.

  • Prepare purchasing plans to maintain appropriate stock levels while controlling procurement costs.

  • Identify and implement cost saving opportunities across multiple product categories.

  • Develop, negotiate, and manage supplier contracts and commercial agreements.

  • Monitor inventory levels, stock movement, seasonal demand patterns, and reorder requirements.

  • Review supplier performance, product quality, pricing competitiveness, and delivery reliability.

  • Work closely with warehouse, sales, and logistics teams to ensure stock availability and meet customer demand.

  • Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier information, inventory data, and procurement documentation.

  • Support business growth through effective procurement planning, supplier development, and process improvements.

  • Analyse procurement performance and prepare reports, cost analysis, and supplier recommendations for management review.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Procurement Manager or similar.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field.

  • Strong negotiation, supplier management, and commercial decision making skills.

  • Excellent organisational and planning abilities.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Reliable, hardworking, and committed to achieving business objectives.

  • Good speaking skills in Bengali and Hindi.
