About the roleRugby World Cup Australia is excited to offer an opportunity for a Communications & PR Coordinator based in our Sydney office and reporting directly to the Senior Communications Manager. In this role, you’ll be right at the heart of the action helping bring the tournament’s story to life, supporting media coverage, and making sure key moments are seen, heard and celebrated both in Australia and around the world.
Day to day, you’ll coordinate media requests, organise interviews, and support press conferences, announcements and key tournament moments. You’ll create and share content, track coverage, and ensure media and stakeholders have what they need to tell the story. Working closely with the Senior Communications Manager and Communications & PR Manager, you’ll help keep communications activity running smoothly. You’ll collaborate across teams and partners, contribute to storytelling, and deliver clear, consistent messaging across all channels. This is a fast-paced, collaborative role where no two days are the same, ideal for someone organised, proactive and excited to be part of major moments as they happen.
