About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Operations Manager to take full ownership of a high-volume distribution facility at Yennora. Reporting to the State Operations Manager, you will run the site end to end, with accountability for P&L, customer service, people and safety.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can set the operational agenda, lead a team of Supervisors and coordinators, and build strong relationships with key customers. You will balance commercial discipline with day-to-day execution in a fast-paced 3PL environment.
Key Responsibilities
Own end-to-end operations and the financial performance (P&L) of the site
Lead, coach and develop Supervisors and frontline teams to deliver results - 20 staff total
Manage budgets, cost-to-serve and labour productivity against targets
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
Ensure KPIs, SLAs and DIFOT/OTIF commitments are consistently met
Drive a strong safety culture and full WHS compliance across the site
Lead continuous improvement, process optimisation and network efficiency
Plan labour, MHE and capacity to meet fluctuating volume and peak periods
Report on site performance and partner with senior management on strategy
About You
Proven site or operations management experience within 3PL, logistics or distribution
Track record of P&L and budget accountability at site level
Strong people leadership across multiple shifts and team layers
Commercial acumen with a focus on cost control and customer outcomes
Solid WMS experience (Blue Yonder an advantage) and strong systems literacy
Confident managing customer relationships and contractual service levels
Qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain or related discipline (relevant experience considered in lieu)
Genuine commitment to safety, performance and continuous improvement
