Maintenance Technician / Operations Officer

$80,000 - $85,000 + Super
Looking for a hands‑on role where your maintenance and operations skills actually make an impact? We’re partnering with a major commercial property to find an experienced Maintenance Technician / Operations Officer to support the smooth running, safety, and presentation of a busy commercial site.
The Role
Daily building checks and minor repairs across lighting, plumbing, painting, and general upkeep
Oversee cleaning services and ensure presentation standards are maintained
Coordinate contractors across HVAC, fire, lifts, security, and other services
Maintain plant rooms, equipment, and support preventative maintenance schedules
Assist with compliance activities including WHS, risk, and the Annual Fire Safety Statement
Keep accurate records, service logs, and support operational reporting
What You’ll Bring
Previous experience in building/facilities maintenance
Broad general maintenance or trade skills
Experience coordinating contractors or cleaning teams
Strong understanding of WHS and building compliance
Clear communicator with solid reporting capability
White Card and driver’s licence ideal; Fire Safety Statement knowledge a plus
Experience with systems like Yardi beneficial
