The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Senior Operations Manager to oversee the branch and lead the performance of the assigned customer program/s. In this role, you will drive operational success through effective communication, performance monitoring, and close collaboration across functional teams. You will also manage a small workforce and play a key role in setting up and launching the new program and facility. This is an onsite position.
Key Responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
Manage day‑to‑day site operations, including safety, compliance, workforce coordination, and general facility oversight.
Serve as the primary contact for the customer on all operational and performance‑related matters.
Monitor program performance to ensure alignment with customer requirements and expectations.
Prepare, analyse, and issue regular reports on program performance.
Coordinate activities across Operations, IT, Quality, and Engineering to support seamless service delivery.
Identify areas of non-conformance and develop actionable remediation and improvement plans.
Ensure the site meets all company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct meetings with internal teams and customer stakeholders to align on daily operational needs, timelines and priorities.
Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
Strong leadership capability with experience managing and developing employees.
Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and self‑motivated.
Proactive problem‑solver with sound decision‑making skills.
Excellent communication skills, with confidence engaging peers and senior leadership.
Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project), with strong reporting and data analysis skills.
Ability to interpret and understand contract language.
Degree in Business, Project Management, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
5–10 years’ experience in Program, Project, or Operations Management within a fast‑paced environment.
4+ years’ experience in high‑volume supply chain, distribution operations, or logistics.
Experience with quality systems is advantageous.
