The Facilities Manager will ensure optimal tenant satisfaction through enabling the efficient, cost-effective operation and maintenance of a brand new premium retail shopping centre.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high levels of customer service, maintaining strong tenant satisfaction and stakeholder engagement while meeting all KPIs.
  • Manage site operating expenditure within budget, ensuring cost-effective maintenance, repairs, and capital works delivery.
  • Ensure smooth building operations with minimal disruption, including oversight of cleaning, security, inspections, and reporting.
  • Maintain full compliance with legal, safety (WHS), environmental, and client requirements, including contractor compliance.
  • Oversee contractor and contract management, ensuring performance, executed agreements, and delivery against KPIs.
  • Support sustainability initiatives, including energy and water efficiency and maintaining NABERS ratings.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate operational risks, promoting a zero-harm environment and supporting audits.
  • Drive efficient property operations through budgeting, defect management, asset performance monitoring, and continuous improvement strategies.
  • Build strong tenant relationships through clear communication, issue resolution, and proactive service updates.
  • Manage administrative functions including reporting, budgeting support, contractor meetings, documentation, and emergency response availability.

About You

  • Proven background in managing facilities within a high quality, premium office asset
  • Strong financial acumen, including cash and accrual accounting
  • A professional, approachable style with high attention to detail
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships
  • Current Certificate of Registration and valid driver’s licence
