Sharp & Carter is proud to be partnering with a leading organisation within the financial services sector to recruit a Workplace & Facilities Specialist / Corporate Receptionist.

This is a critical front‑of‑house and workplace operations role supporting a high‑performing corporate office environment.

About the Role

You will be responsible for delivering a professional, welcoming reception experience while also overseeing workplace operations, facilities coordination, and compliance activities. You will act as the central point of contact for staff, visitors, executives, and service providers – ensuring the workplace is safe, functional, and operating at a consistently high standard.

Key Responsibilities
Corporate Reception & Workplace Experience
  • Act as first point of contact for visitors, employees, executives, and external stakeholders
  • Deliver a polished, professional reception and guest services experience
  • Manage meeting rooms, catering, transport bookings, mail, couriers, and office logistics
  • Coordinate and support internal events and workplace experiences
Facilities & Building Operations
  • Oversee building access, inductions, guest passes, and security processes
  • Manage maintenance requests, repairs, and contractor coordination
  • Liaise with building management, cleaners, security, and service providers
  • Support workplace fit‑outs, restacks, and office changes
Compliance, Safety & Risk
  • Deliver WHS inductions, audits, and evacuation/warden coordination
  • Ensure compliance with building safety, security, and risk requirements
  • Support access control audits and facilities‑related governance processes
Administration & Continuous Improvement
  • Manage procurement activities including quotes, POs, and receipting
  • Maintain workplace documentation and SharePoint content
  • Identify and implement process improvements across workplace operations
About You

You are highly organised, proactive, and service‑oriented, with strong experience in Workplace, Facilities, or Corporate Reception within a professional corporate environment. You bring:

  • Proven experience in workplace or facilities coordination
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • A customer‑first mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Experience working with vendors, contractors, and service providers
  • Understanding of WHS and building compliance requirements
  • Confidence working both independently and as part of a team
