Store Manager

This is a full-time position (40 hours) in a creative and thriving small business, we seek a person who is passionate about jewellery, fashion and design. From your experience, you will show us a keen understanding of both local and international fashion & jewellery markets.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a flare for exceptional customer service, organisational skills, and the ability to work independently. This is a multifaceted role, where you will be responsible for providing an exceptional experience for customers in-store and online working alongside the creative director, Kerry Beard.

We are seeking someone with a minimum of five years experience working within high-end retail, and be available to work one weekend day a week.

• [5+years] experience in retail sales/customer service
• Passionate about providing personalised customer service, going above and beyond for our customers
• Driven by sales targets and a can-do attitude toward sales
• Demonstrates a creative flair
• Proven ability to be an independent worker, self-starter and demonstrate daily pro-active thinking
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have experience with Shopify
• Marketing/Content experience is a bonus

Key Responsibilities

• Welcoming and upselling to customers in the store
• Build client database
• Order processing and invoicing
• Assist with store presentation
• Processing online orders
• Sales and product management
• Content creation
• Projects to assist store management i.e. sales systems, excel sheets for sales reports in store
• Processing of goods going in and out of the store i.e. preparing production for gold-plating and deliveries
• Stock & inventory control
