About the Role

We're seeking motivated candidates to begin their 1st year apprenticeship as an Apprentice Maintenance Technician.

You'll earn while you learn in a modern manufacturing environment, working alongside experienced tradespeople who will mentor and support your development. This is a structured pathway into a secure, high-demand career.

No prior trade experience is required — we're hiring for attitude, reliability and work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with preventative and breakdown maintenance
Learn to diagnose and repair plant equipment
Support fabrication and workshop activities
Learn to read technical drawings and schematics
Maintain tools and workshop standards
Complete formal apprenticeship training
Follow site safety and quality requirements
Work as part of a collaborative maintenance team

What We're Looking For

Successful completion of Year 12, preferably in the STEM streams
Completion of a Certificate 2 in a relevant trade
Eligible and committed to starting a 1st year apprenticeship
Genuine interest in mechanical or electrical trades
Strong work ethic and reliability
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
Positive team attitude
Good practical problem-solving skills
Driver's licence
Strong attendance record

Experience in a workshop or manufacturing environment is helpful but not essential.
