About the Opportunity

We’re looking for an organised and proactive Communications & Events Specialist to join our Head Office team in Crows Nest.

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love bringing communications and events to life, this role offers the chance to make a real impact. You’ll work across teams, support high visibility initiatives and help create engaging experiences that keep our network connected and informed.

This is a hands-on opportunity to play a key role in how our organisation communicates, connects and celebrates across the network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and maintenance of communication frameworks, templates, and the corporate calendar

  • Coordinate and publish internal communications including newsletters, intranet updates, announcements, and office wide meeting materials

  • Assist in drafting and publishing internal articles, updates, LinkedIn posts, and other business communications

  • Coordinate and assist with end-to-end planning of corporate events, meetings, and employee engagement initiatives

  • Assist with professional switchboard coverage, ensuring incoming feedback is directed appropriately

About You

  • Qualification in Communications, Events, Marketing or related field

  • Experienced in Communications, Event Coordination, or a similar role

  • A confident communicator with strong written, verbal and proofreading skills

  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and an eye for visual design

  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines

  • Professional and service-oriented when handling calls and stakeholder interactions

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Canva and comfortable learning new systems

  • Able to work collaboratively while also taking ownership of tasks independently
