A1 Metallising Services Pty Ltd is currently expanding and is proud to announce the recently acquired Hot Wire Laser System, which is the first of it's kind in Australia. We are always looking at new equipment and technology to further enhance our capabilities.

Due to expansion and internal career progression, we are currently seeking driven First Class Machinist / Fitter Turner applicants to join our expanding and committed team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for applicants who are passionate and have the drive to contribute and develop their skills at a company where they are most appreciated.

You will be given opportunities to learn all aspects of Thermal Sprayed Coatings and Machining Technology.

About the role and what you need to succeed

These roles are suitable for applicants with a mechanical aptitude or First Class Machinist Fitter Turner tradesperson. Hourly rate is dependent upon experience.

Proficient use of large manual lathes, and the use of 4 jaw chucks will be highly regarded
CNC experience will be highly regarded
Able to read technical drawings required
High Attention to detail required
Measuring to ISO standards using internal and external micrometers required
Technical capability with a can do attitude will hold you in good stead for these roles
Have good communication skills
Be physically fit and reliable
Work hard and be rewarded both financially and career progression
Previous Thermal Spray Experience would be a distinct advantage, although not essential
Overhead crane & forklift experience advantageous.
