Electronic Security Technician – Permanent Part-Time or Full-Time

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and driven Electronic Security Technician to join our commercial security systems installation and maintenance team.

Southern Cross Electronic Security is a newly formed division of the Southern Cross Services Group of companies. (www.scgroup.global) a national provider of security and facilities management solutions. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electronics Security Service Technician to join our team.

Our Clientele:

Southern Cross Electronic Security provides security solutions to commercial sites, strata properties, small to medium enterprises and local government facilities.

We do not provide services in the standalone residential market.

About You:

Australian citizens or permanent residents only are eligible to apply for this position.

Proven Background: Established experience as an Electronic Security Installation Technician.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electronic security systems and components.
Troubleshooting Proficiency: Skilled in diagnosing and fixing security system issues.
Analytical Abilities: Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong analytical approach.
Independence: Capability to work effectively without supervision.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Electronic Security Installation Technician is required.

Essential experience with CCTV systems, access control, alarm systems, and intercom systems is required.

Current security licence is required for this position.
