As our Australian operations continue to grow, we are looking for a Field Technician to join our team and support installations and service operations across Australia.
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Field Technician responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of Modula Automated Lift machines at customer sites.
This role involves a mix of mechanical and electrical type work, troubleshooting, and customer support. You will work both independently and as part of a team while representing Modula in a professional manner.
Travel across Australia will be required for installations and service work.
Key Responsibilities
Install and commission Modula Automated Lift machines at customer sites
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical and electrical components
Diagnose system faults and provide effective technical solutions both remotely and onsite
Provide technical support during system setup and operational phases
Complete service reports and documentation using Microsoft Office tools
Maintain professional communication with customers and internal teams
Skills & Experience
Mechanical background with some experience in machinery, automation equipment, or industrial systems an advantage
Medium level electrical knowledge, including the ability to read basic electrical diagrams and work with electrical components
Comfortable working at heights, including operating scissor lifts or elevated work platforms (EWP)
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for reporting and communication
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
Additional Requirements
Willingness to travel across Australia for installations and service work
High level of dedication and strong work ethic
Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
