As our Australian operations continue to grow, we are looking for a Field Technician to join our team and support installations and service operations across Australia.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Field Technician responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of Modula Automated Lift machines at customer sites.

This role involves a mix of mechanical and electrical type work, troubleshooting, and customer support. You will work both independently and as part of a team while representing Modula in a professional manner.

Travel across Australia will be required for installations and service work.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and commission Modula Automated Lift machines at customer sites

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical and electrical components

• Diagnose system faults and provide effective technical solutions both remotely and onsite

• Provide technical support during system setup and operational phases

• Complete service reports and documentation using Microsoft Office tools

• Maintain professional communication with customers and internal teams

Skills & Experience

• Mechanical background with some experience in machinery, automation equipment, or industrial systems an advantage

• Medium level electrical knowledge, including the ability to read basic electrical diagrams and work with electrical components

• Comfortable working at heights, including operating scissor lifts or elevated work platforms (EWP)

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for reporting and communication

  Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude

• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
