Hours of Work: Full Time (will include evenings and weekends as required)

About the Role:

Paliguard Pty Ltd (MLN 405616938) is seeking applications for a Site Security Manager.

Paliguard provides advice and services directly to our clients’ leadership, individual communal institutions, organisations, and events. Its operations include protection, research and advice, investigations, crisis management, and liaising with the community, relevant government agencies and other stakeholders. With a reputation built on integrity, operational excellence, and critical services, we are seeking an execution-focused and results-driven Site Security Manager to join our team. The Site Security Manager will be responsible for security strategy and operational management across two school sites.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Security Operations Manager with demonstrated experience in security operations or related field/s. They will be calm, composed and confident under pressure, with a passion for security & safety, providing high-level training and continuous development & improvement.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Developing and implementing best practice security strategies, policies, procedures and emergency response plans tailored to two independent sites.

·         Conducting risk assessments and evaluating operations to identify opportunities for improvement.

·         Managing security personnel including training and oversight of day-to-day tasks of third-party onsite security personnel.

·         Ensuring all systems are regularly maintained and tested, appropriate records kept, and related policies and procedures are reviewed and updated as necessary.

·         Ensuring all security equipment, technology and physical means are in working and optimal condition. This will be achieved through regular audits and needs analyses.

·         Liaising with external security service providers where necessary.

·         Maintaining and updating the site/s Crisis Management Plan/s.

·         Overseeing security operations and plans for onsite events and school excursions.

·         Liaising with law enforcement and other relevant authorities as required.

·         Observing emergency drills and ensuring implementation of post-drill or incident learnings.

·         Providing training and guidance on security measures to school staff and students.

·         Managing and improving the parent awareness & resilience programs.

·         Managing security grants including applications, reporting and compliance.

·         Overseeing physical security improvements and ensuring project execution aligns with funding requirements.

Eligibility:

·         Australian Citizen

·         NSW Police Criminal Record Check (employment will be subject to a clear check)

·         Working With Children Check

·         Reasonable physical fitness and ability to conduct regular patrols

Required Skills and Experience:

·         Security Industry Experience: At least 2 years’ experience in security operations or related field and strong understanding of security threats, systems and technologies

·         Management, Leadership & Supervision: Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or senior security / risk management role

·         Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders and ability to produce high quality written communications

·         Problem-Solving & Decision-Making Skills: Ability to remain calm and controlled in high-pressure situations with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a high-performance team

Desirable & Highly Regarded:

·         Unrestricted NSW Drivers Licence

·         Unrestricted NSW Security Licence
