As a result of our ongoing growth and success, Crossmuller are seeking experienced Security Technicians to join our Security & Communications team.

About us

We are currently seeking an Individual with experience with electronic security and communications to join our team based in Somersby that is willing to proactively learn and grow with our team and the forever changing security industry.

Whilst working within the security team you will be exposed to multiple disciplines including but not limited to Commercial, Industrial, Maintenance installations and servicing of electronic security equipment.

About you

To be considered for this role you will be able to meet the following essential selection criteria:

A current NSW Driving Licence
Current WHS white card
Ability to liaise with builders, foremen and project managers during contract works
Proven ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently
Ability to adapt to a constant changing work environment and scheduling
Takes pride in their work and completing projects to the highest of standards
Willingness to train apprentices with a positive attitude to ensure they become the best tradesman
Basic computing troubleshooting skills
Able to interpret electrical and architectural drawings

· Security Class 2 Licence (Not essential to have but must be eligible to obtain)

Knowledge of the following:
- Integriti
- Tecom
- Protégé
- HID
- Milestone
- Hikvision
- Aiphone
- Installing Structured Cabling Systems and network infrastructure.
- Fibre optics
- Networking
- RAID builds and NAS

The following qualifications are not essential but will be highly regarded in the selection process:

Experience with CCTV Install & Commissioning
Experience with Security Alarm/ Access Control Install & Commissioning
Elevated Work Platform Licence
Confined Space
Emergency First Aid / CPR
Working at Heights
Low Voltage Release and Rescue
Exposure to Milestone CCTV systems
Exposure to Integrity security systems
Technical Security Training
Open Cablers License

Electrical License
Relevant trade qualification
Knowledge of AS/NZS 3000:2018, AS/NZS 3008.1.2:2017, AS/NZS 3017:2007, AS/CA S009:2020

This is a full-time permanent position within our Electrical team. To be successful in this role you must be self-motivated and be willing to put in the work needed to complete jobs in a timely manner. Attention to detail and highest quality workmanship are paramount.

As part of the selection process, applicants must be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical examination which includes functional, audiometric and drug and alcohol testing.

Rate will be negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
