Are you looking for a fresh start in a National company servicing the insurance industry?

The Cowan Restoration Group is looking for enthusiastic staff willing to join our team in Sydney to fill a Restoration Technician role.       

You may currently be working as a Restoration Technician or work in another trade and are looking for something new to keep you energised.
 

The Cowan Restoration Group is one of Australia’s leading restoration innovators with offices throughout Australia. The Group is proudly Australian owned and operated and provides professional fire and water damage restoration services primarily to the insurance industry 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Your responsibilities in this role will include but are not limited to: 
 

  • Inspect, plan and report on damage/loss to contents items

  • Perform emergency “make safe” works to mitigate further damage on initial attendance at site where required

  • Demonstrate proficiency in restoration techniques, processes, and procedures, including treatment, cleaning and sanitising of contents items 

  • Undertake deployment, monitoring and collection of equipment from site

  • Understanding and meeting Insurer and internal Cowan Restoration Group Key Performance Indicators

  • Entering claims information into the Customer Relationship Management system 

  • Participation on the after hours on call roster 

  • Undertaking any other duties and tasks as directed by management.

  • Willingness and ability to travel locally and interstate as required 

    What are we looking for? 
     

  • Experience in Water, Fire and Mould restoration highly regarded

  • IICRC Accreditations highly regarded

  • Exceptional customer service skills

  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • Ability to work autonomously with little supervision

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise competing work allocations

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Sound organisational skills including strong attention to detail

  • Proven time-management skills

  • Ability to remain calm and work well under pressure

  • C Class Drivers Licence (Minimum) 

A National Police Check and a Working with Children Check are mandatory requirements of the recruitment process.
