What’s involved?
You will lead business development efforts in New South Wales and take carriage of the branch's sales growth trajectory and build strong and ongoing relationships between the company and our customers. You will also be a part of the New South Wales leadership team and be responsible for:
Developing and implementing strategic and commercial approaches to growing the company’s market share
Growing relationships with potential customers while strengthening relationships with existing customers
Collaborating with teams across the organisation to achieve the best outcomes, particularly in relation to sales growth, customer loyalty, and profit targets
Researching and reporting on current market trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities
Working collaboratively with leaders across other branches to support broader organisational objectives
Supporting the growth of key strategic initiatives, including the Partners Plus program and broader customer partnership strategies
Helping drive the THINK STERLING mindset through proactive customer engagement, strong market presence, and relationship-focused leadership
What are we looking for?
You will be an experienced and forward looking business development professional who has a growth oriented mindset. You will want to make a positive impact, leave your mark on the business and take pride in the quality of your work. The qualities which we are particularly looking for include:
Proven experience in sales or business engagement within a B2B environment
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to confidently close opportunities
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Strong problem-solving capability
A growth-focused, responsible, and initiative-driven leader
Experience within the automotive parts industry
A genuine passion for building long-term customer relationships and delivering meaningful outcomes
