Job Description: As part of our dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations, contributing to various aspects of civil construction projects. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks aimed at ensuring the smooth execution of projects and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pit rendering to facilitate proper drainage systems.

  • Trenching for the installation of utilities and infrastructure.

  • Efficient pipe laying to support the development of underground networks.

  • Working with concrete and asphalt to create sturdy foundations and surfaces.

  • Assisting with general civil laboring duties as directed by supervisors.

  • Working safely around live services to prevent accidents and disruptions.

  • Following plans and site layouts meticulously to ensure accuracy in execution.

  • Collaborating with other teams and departments to maintain project cohesion.

  • Adhering strictly to safety guidelines and procedures to mitigate risks.

Requirements:

  • Possession of a valid White Card, indicating completion of construction induction training.

  • RIW card is a must.

  • Knowledge of various civil tasks and operations to execute duties effectively.

  • Minimum 3-6 months of civil construction experience is required.

  • Ability to perform basic civil duties with precision and efficiency.

  • Physical fitness to handle the demands of labor-intensive work.

  • High attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in tasks.

  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration.

  • Capacity to work in a team environment, liaising with other departments as needed.

  • Capability to work under minimal supervision while maintaining productivity.

  • Experience operating dump trucks is advantageous but not essential.

  • Some rail exposure or experience is required for rail infrastructure work.

Reimbursement:

  • Travel Allowance

  • Meal Allowance

  • Site and Productivity Allowance

  • Hourly rate without allowances $35-50 hr
