The OMODA | JAECOO brand feathers BEV, plug-in hybrid and petrol vehicles, such as the newly arrived JAECOO 5, along with the currently available JAECOO 7 plug-in hybrid, OMODA 9 plug-in hybrid, JAECOO 8 and other ICE model.

Location: Situated on Parramatta Road, Petersham, only 500 meters from Lewisham Station. It is within a 5-minute drive of Dulwich Hill, Summer Hill, Ashfield, Leichhardt, Annandale, Stanmore, and just 10 minutes from Sydney Central.

The company is recruiting Experienced Service Advisor and Experienced Automotive Technician.

Experienced Automotive Technician:

Key responsibilities:

• General servicing and maintenance of vehicles

• Identifying and repairing technical issues

• Identifying additional work as required

• Road testing vehicles

• Completing all work as per Manufacturer Repair times and retail standards

• Completing quality and timely work to meet Customer and sales management needs as per the Repair Order

• Diagnose vehicle problems 

• Ensure work bays are cleaned after job and washed daily

 To apply for this position, you need to meet the following requirements:

• A current driver's licence

• MVRIC licence or 3rd/4th year Apprentice

• Be reliable, have a good work ethic

• Be able to work independently as well as in a team environment

• Have a good eye for detail

• Excellent organisational skills

• Skilled in diagnosing and repairing vehicles and components

Experienced Service Advisor:

Key responsibilities:

• Meeting guests & taking customer enquiries and service bookings.

• Writing up repair orders

• Keeping guests up to date with vehicle progress

• Estimating the cost and time needed to complete a job

• Determining the customers needs and communicating these to the workshop, to fix it right the first time and deliver the vehicle on time

• Selling any additional work identified by the workshop

• Handling guest complaints

• Prepare and cost invoices along with processing payments

 To apply for this position, you need to meet the following requirements:

• Experience in a similar client-facing / customer service role within a retail automotive service department

• Excellent customer service skills including a pleasant welcoming manner and the ability to relate to a wide range of people both in-person and via telephone

• A current NSW drivers license is a must

• Strong time management and organizational skills

• Has a sound knowledge of automotive mechanics

Yard Hand

Key responsibilities:

• Maintaining appearance of our vehicle inventory, showroom and outside display yards

• Preparation of vehicles for customer delivery, including cleaning and detailing

• Safely and efficiently moving vehicles around the dealership as needed

• Fit Registration plates and labels

• Fueling all demonstrator vehicles

• Previous experience in automotive dealership yard hand (preferred)
