TRADES ASSISTANTS / FIELD TECHNICIANS - MATRAVILLE ) Matraville, Sydney, Australia

Labourpower are recruiting for 2 X TRADE ASSISTANT/FIELD TECHNICIANS to join a National Install company based in Matraville.

This business completes repairs and installations for commercial escalator builds and are looking for a skilled Field Technicians/Trades Assistant to join their team. They are willing to invest / train the right candidate with the right skills and attitude.

SHIFT: Standard Shifts are 8am-4pm based in Matraville Depot. However, when undertaking an install, this can vary greatly, and you may be required to work nights, weekends, and travel interstate.

Successful applicants will have/be:

Handyman or Trades assistance experience
Good with tools, hand and powered
Cutting Machine operating experience
Great attention to detail
Excellent Safety Record
Great attendance Record
Willing to undertake manual handling
Available for OVERTIME and TRAVEL where required

THE ROLE:

Measuring, cutting and splicing escalator handrails
Set ups and Installation
Cleaning up after install
