<p>Infini Concepts Pty Ltd t/a Burj Finance is a specialist Australian finance brokerage providing tailored property finance solutions to families, investors, business owners and property developers across Australia.</p><p>We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Mortgage Broker to join our growing team. This role is suited to a finance professional who enjoys understanding complex client circumstances, analysing borrowing requirements and structuring lending solutions that support both immediate financing needs and longer-term financial objectives.</p><p>Working across a diverse client base, you will assess financial circumstances, research available lending options, recommend appropriate finance structures and manage applications through to settlement.</p><p>You will also have the opportunity to develop your expertise across Burj's broader finance offering, including residential, investment, commercial, construction and SMSF property finance.</p><br><h3>Benefits</h3><h2>&nbsp;</h2><ul><li>Competitive remuneration package</li><li>Performance-based incentives</li><li>Career progression and professional development opportunities</li><li>Mentoring and support from experienced finance professionals</li><li>Exposure to residential, commercial, construction and SMSF finance</li><li>Opportunity to develop expertise in Shariah-compliant finance solutions</li><li>Access to an extensive range of lenders and funding solutions</li><li>Collaborative and supportive team environment</li><li>Flexible working arrangements</li><li>Opportunity to build long-term relationships with a diverse client base</li></ul><br><h3>Task & responsibilities</h3><p>As a Mortgage Broker at Burj Finance, your responsibilities will include:</p><ul><li>Meet with clients to understand their financial circumstances, property objectives, borrowing requirements and longer-term financial goals.</li><li>Analyse clients' income, expenses, assets, liabilities, credit position and borrowing capacity to determine suitable financing strategies.</li><li>Research and compare available lending products, lender policies, interest rates, fees and finance structures to identify solutions suited to each client's circumstances.</li><li>Recommend appropriate home loan and finance structures for owner-occupiers, first-home buyers, property investors, refinancers and other eligible borrowers.</li><li>Provide clients with clear information regarding available finance options, proposed loan structures, repayment arrangements, costs and relevant lending conditions.</li><li>Prepare, lodge and manage mortgage and finance applications from initial assessment and supporting documentation through to approval and settlement.</li><li>Arrange home loan mortgages and other property-related finance with banks, lenders and other funding providers on behalf of clients.</li><li>Liaise and negotiate with lenders and relevant parties regarding loan structures, terms, conditions and application requirements to achieve appropriate client outcomes.</li><li>Prepare and review finance documentation outlining proposed lending arrangements, repayment obligations, loan periods and other relevant conditions.</li><li>Assist clients with more complex property financing requirements, including investment, commercial, construction/development and SMSF finance where appropriate.</li><li>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of lender credit policies, lending products, interest rates, regulatory requirements and changes affecting mortgage and property finance.</li><li>Maintain accurate client files, application records, supporting financial documentation and broker notes throughout the finance process.</li><li>Ensure lending recommendations and applications comply with responsible lending obligations, applicable regulatory requirements and Burj Finance's internal policies and procedures.</li><li>Build and maintain long-term client relationships through professional advice, regular communication and ongoing support with future property and refinancing requirements.</li></ul><br><h3>Qualification & experience</h3><p>To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:</p><ul><li>Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking, Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management, or a relevant equivalent qualification.</li><li>Previous experience as a Mortgage Broker, Finance Broker or in a closely related lending position.</li><li>Strong knowledge of residential mortgage products, lender credit policies and loan structures.</li><li>Experience assessing client financial circumstances and borrowing capacity.</li><li>Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess PAYG and self-employed financial information.</li><li>Experience with investment, commercial, construction or SMSF lending will be highly regarded.</li><li>Excellent client communication, relationship management and negotiation skills.</li><li>Strong attention to detail when preparing and reviewing finance applications and supporting documentation.</li><li>Ability to independently manage multiple client applications at different stages of the lending process.</li><li>Appropriate industry accreditation, membership and authorisation required to perform mortgage broking activities in Australia.</li></ul>
