Please click to apply to be part of our exciting team. <h3>Task & responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Conduct inspections inspection to determine vehicle condition.</li><li>Detect faults by performing diagnostic tests</li><li>Identifying worn and damaged parts in the vehicle.</li><li>Accurate detection of faults in mechanical parts and vehicle engines using technical testing equipment such as computers where appropriate.</li><li>Detecting and diagnosing electrical faults in vehicles using appropriate diagnostic tools and testing equipment.</li><li>Maintains vehicle records by annotating services and repairs.</li><li>Removing, disassembling and repairing worn and defective engine parts</li><li>Removing and disassembling transmission and steering equipment and diagnosing faults</li><li>Getting information from clients about issues in vehicle.</li><li>Providing advice to clients on vehicle repairs</li><li>Fitting tyres, tyres replacement &amp; wheel alignment.</li><li>Repairing and replacing faulty parts such as brakes, suspension, transmission, gearbox, exhaust systems, etc.</li><li>Performing scheduled maintenance services include oil change, lubrication top up/ change, as per manuals and general roadworthiness of vehicles</li><li>Refer to vehicle service manuals and manufacturer instructions when carrying out repairs and maintenance.</li><li>Testing vehicles after repair to ensure they comply with safety regulations.</li><li>Test and adjust repaired parts to ensure they are working properly and safely.</li><li>Order and check delivery of spare parts.</li><li>Service and repair of cooling systems, clutch assemblies, suspension systems, etc.</li><li>Inspecting workshop equipment, including vehicle hoists, lifting equipment and other tools, to ensure they meet safety and compliance standards.</li><li>Adhering to workplace safety procedures and using appropriate protective equipment and safe work practices at all times.</li><li>Ensure vehicle meet safety, environmental and emission standards</li></ul> <h3>Qualification & experience</h3><ul><li>Minimum certificate 3 in light vehicle Mechanical technology or equivalent/ Certificate iv in Automotive mechanical diagnosis preferred.</li><li>Minimum one year work experience in similar role.</li><li>Technical knowledge and Attention to detail</li><li>Australian work experience preferred</li></ul>
