Summary Lead material handler responsible for the safe & accurate transportation of material within and around the warehouse facility; Assists and oversees the safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of orders; Assists in maintaining workplace WHS and an efficient warehouse & packing space.  ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Works with the Warehouse Manager and Logistics Coordinator to ensure timely dispatch of orders Lead storeman for assisting in handloading orders for pick ups Lead forklift driver for loading & unloading trucks Lead forklift driver for safe storage & movement of palletised material Lead crane operator for handling natural stone slabs and porcelain panels using safety protocols Unpacks containers both palletised and stone slabs using safety protocol & in a timely manner Understands and learns about new products to ensure the correct items are packed and dispatched to customers Responsible for ensuring accuracy of picks Assist the team by maintaining and keeping the Warehouse Schedule up to date Responsible for booking couriers for both local & interstate deliveries Assists with answering phone calls Other duties may be assigned on an adhoc basis as directed by the manager.
